Article Summary

Individual Staff Users have the ability to create their own shifts using the Add Adhoc Visit button in the Today's Shifts menu. This offers the staff user the flexibility to create individual visits to fit their schedule and meet the needs of the client at the same time.

In order to make the scheduling even easier, the ad-hoc visit scheduling feature has integrated geo-location. If the staff user has geolocation enabled on their device and they are on-site, this feature will allow them to select their current location as the visit location. The Staff User will see their current location in the upper left corner under the Create Ad-Hoc Visit heading if this function is activated.

Drop down menus allow the staff user to select the Project, Visit Type and Recap that they want to assign to this Visit. They must also assign a unique Visit Name. All fields are mandatory.

Completing those four fields will populate additional fields for Date, Start Time, End Time, Visit Description and Shift Type. All of these fields are mandatory except for Visit Description.

After completing these fields, the Staff User will be prompted to complete the Visit Location information. Users have several options to assign a Location to an Ad-hoc Visit. Choosing Your Location will populate a list of Locations that have already been assigned to that user. Nearby uses the geo-location of the Staff User's device to pinpoint their current location and find locations within a set distance from that point. Search allows users to search by Address, ID, or Location Name and can be further limited by selecting the Nearby Only checkbox. If none of these options provide the user with the correct location information, they can select New and create a new Location in the system.

Selecting the correct Location from the list of results will populate the Location below. This will include the Location Name and Address. The Staff User may have to assign a Territory and Location Type if the Location is new to the program.

Once all required fields are completed, the Staff User will be able to click Save Ad-hoc Visit.

The new Visit will now be visible on the Staff User's home screen. The Staff User will be able to click Details to open a Visit Summary and retrieve directions and other shift information. Recaps and Claims will also be submitted through this page.
